Hot dip Galvanized C Channel

The Hot dip Galvanized C Channel produced by Shixinda Manufacturer is cold-formed from Q235B and Q355B steel plates and then fully heat-dip galvanized to form standard C-shaped thin-walled steel sections. It is specifically designed as outdoor load-bearing components for factories and photovoltaic projects. It is mainly used as roof trusses, wall beams, and main and secondary beams of photovoltaic supports, bearing the load of enclosure and light support.

When manufacturing this Hot dip Galvanized C Channel, Shixinda Factory strictly follows the GB/T 13912 standard. The zinc layer thickness is ≥ 65 μm, with strong metallurgical bonding adhesion, and there is no zinc leakage in the entire section. Customized thick zinc layers can be provided for coastal and livestock farm environments with high corrosion resistance. It can be used outdoors for maintenance-free for over 20 years. The inner rolled edge section design is lightweight and high-strength, saving materials with the same load-bearing capacity. The standard installation holes are pre-processed by CNC, making on-site construction convenient and significantly shortening the construction period.

Shixinda has a complete range of specifications, covering the entire series from C80 to C250, with thicknesses of 1.5 - 3.0 mm. Length and hole spacing can be customized as needed, and the size tolerance is strictly controlled. Relying on its own production line for full-process quality inspection, the straightness and uniformity of the zinc coating meet the standards, and the product is straight and free of distortion upon leaving the factory. Compared with ordinary black pieces and electro-galvanized profiles, it has prominent advantages in corrosion prevention, structure, and overall cost, and is suitable for engineering projects such as steel structure warehouses, distributed photovoltaic, and livestock sheds. It has sufficient stock, efficient delivery, and one-stop satisfaction for domestic and international engineering procurement needs.

Core functional positioning

1.Roof load-bearing purlins

2.Wall beam (wall purlin)

3.Main and secondary beams of photovoltaic support structure

4.Lightweight steel structure secondary load-bearing components

Core positioning: Outdoor high-corrosion-resistant lightweight cold-formed enclosure / support structural components, addressing the problem of steel structure rusting easily in outdoor, humid, and corrosive environments.

Core selling points

Anti-corrosion advantages (unique core selling point of hot dip galvanized C-channel)

The zinc layer thickness of Hot Dip Galvanized C-channel is ≥ 65 μm. The zinc-iron alloy layer is metallurgically combined with the steel, with extremely strong adhesion and is unlikely to fall off upon impact;

Full section coating with folded edges, inner bevels, and openings, no missed coating, isolating water vapor, acids, alkalis, and salt fog;

Outdoor service life of 20–30 years. It is recommended for use in high-corrosion environments such as coastal areas, chemical plant areas, and livestock farms;

No need for later painting maintenance, significantly reducing the cost of factory operation and renovation.

Structural mechanical advantages

C-shaped with rolled edges, the section's moment of inertia and torsional strength have significantly increased, making it less prone to bending and deformation;

Lightweight and high-strength, with less self-weight than channel steel under the same load, reducing the load on the main steel frame;

Regular section, stable bending and wind pressure resistance performance, suitable for large-span factory roofs and walls.

Construction and installation advantages

Factory prefabricated punching (bolt holes / self-drilling screws), no need for secondary hole drilling at the site, reducing damage to the coating layer;

Uniform dimensions, simple splicing and connection, with dedicated galvanized connection parts;

Good straightness of the profiles, no twisting, high flatness when installed on walls or tiles, and a neat appearance.

Overall cost advantages

One-time galvanizing process, eliminating the need for on-site rust removal and painting of anti-corrosion coatings, shortening the construction period;

Extremely long maintenance-free period, compared to black sheet spray-painted C-channel steel, the long-term overall cost is lower;

Batch standardized production is possible, with a wide range of available specifications, and fast delivery.
