Shixinda's China Special Shaped Steel Tube differs from round tubes. It refers to seamless / welded steel pipes with an irregular cross-section. These pipes are formed through processes such as cold drawing, hot extrusion, bending, and high-frequency welding. The cross-sections include various special shapes such as square, rectangular, elliptical, heart-shaped, hexagonal, octagonal, D-shaped, arched, grooved, single/double convex ribs, and fan-shaped. They are divided into two categories: seamless special-shaped pipes and welded special-shaped pipes. The materials are mainly carbon steel, low alloy steel, galvanized steel, and zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy. They comply with national standards such as GB/T3094 and GB/T6728.
Structural load-bearing positioning: Replacing round pipes and plates, it is used as equipment frames, mechanical support brackets, photovoltaic supports, and steel structure uprights and crossbeams. With the same weight, it offers stronger bending and torsion resistance, achieving lightweight load-bearing.
Matching shape positioning: Meeting the special shape requirements of equipment appearance, mechanical slides, guardrails, door and window profiles, agricultural machinery accessories, and vehicle frames, without the need for secondary bending processing, reducing processes.
Fluid / transportation-specific positioning: Some special-shaped sections are used for heat dissipation pipelines, hydraulic oil circuits, and fluid diversion, increasing heat exchange area and optimizing fluid flow velocity.
Decorative and protective positioning: Galvanized special-shaped pipes are used for guardrails, landscape projects, shelves, and have both structural strength and aesthetic anti-corrosion effects.
Precision machinery positioning: Precision cold-drawn special-shaped pipes are used for cylinders, guide rails, and precision transmission components, with precise size tolerances, allowing for direct assembly.
The irregular cross-sections are designed to optimally distribute materials, resulting in bending, torsion and compression strengths far exceeding those of the same-weight round pipes. This leads to a 15%-30% reduction in engineering material usage and a decrease in overall cost.
The finished cross-sections are tailored to meet usage requirements. Customers do not need to cut, bend, or punch for modification, eliminating the need for secondary processing fees and shortening the production cycle while enhancing assembly efficiency.
The cold-drawn process for irregular pipes allows for controllable tolerances, smooth inner and outer walls, and no burrs. They can be directly drilled, welded, or sprayed, and are suitable for automated production lines.
Multiple materials such as black steel, hot-dip galvanized, electro-galvanized, zinc-aluminum-magnesium, and stainless steel are available for selection. The lifespan is significantly increased in outdoor, humid, and corrosive environments.
Support for mold creation based on provided drawings or samples. Customization of special grooves, polygons, and reinforced irregular cross-sections is possible, suitable for non-standard requirements in photovoltaic, agricultural machinery, automobiles, and steel structures.
Flat and polygonal irregular pipes fit into the limited installation space of equipment, while round pipes cannot be used for compact structures that cannot be accommodated.
